What
is Problem Gambling?
Problem gambling is gambling behaviour which causes
disruptions in any major area of life: psychological,
physical, social or vocational. The term "Problem Gambling"
includes, but is not limited to, the condition known as
"Pathological", or "Compulsive" Gambling, a progressive
addiction characterized by increasing preoccupation with
gambling, a need to bet more money more frequently,
restlessness or irritability when attempting to stop,
"chasing" losses, and loss of control manifested by
continuation of the gambling behavior in spite of mounting,
serious, negative consequences.
Our Mission
and Aim:
The Mission of the The Christian Centre for Gambling
Rehabilitation is to:

With the power of the Gospel through the
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, to help those trapped in
their gambling addiction to repent, give up gambling and
turn to God.

Provide christian support to families of
gamblers.
We firmly believe that only the Gospel of
salvation through Christ can release a gambler from his
gambling addiction. We are willing to provide friendship and
care, to share the Gospel and our experience with those who
seek help, and to guide them towards faith in Christ, where
they can obtain the strength and help to give up gambling, and
to start a new and joyful life for themselves and their
families.
